I think it looks even better! Premium leather martingale collar- Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our shop. I would like to take a moment to tell you all about our martingale collars. Martingales are ideal for all breeds and essential for sight hounds and other dogs with a head similar in size or smaller than their neck. This larger version of our collars is intended for sizes larger than 19 inches of neck circumference. All of our leather is cut by hand into each individual piece of the collar. Once the leather pieces are properly cut and sized we loosely assemble the collar to make sure everything is coming together just right. When everything looks good we install the metal hardware and bond the ends with a special adhesive that is made for leather. This adhesive is 100% eco friendly, contains no chemicals and is water soluble until it's completely dry! In fact, when making our products we have to place the adhesive where we want it, then allow it to dry for just the right amount of time before placing two pieces of leather together. After the pieces are together........we wait. After the adhesive dries it's time for stitching. Each and every stitching hole you see in our products is meticulously punched by hand using what is called a pricking iron, or a chisel. Once the stitching holes are in place it's time to do the actual stitching. We then go back to each stitching hole again doing the actual stitching with your desired color of thread. This thread is no ordinary thread either. It's waxed poly cord that you won't find in local craft stores. This stuff is tough! We use a locking saddle stitch along each of the lines and this locks everything in place....forever. Really, it's almost impossible to undo this stitch line. If we mess up few stitches and need to backtrack, we basically have to destroy the rest of the line and start over with a new piece of thread. It's seriously locked in there! When the collar is finished we put our name on it and it's on the way to you. We couldn't be more thankful and grateful for your order, it really means the world to us. Sizing Information: The standard width for this collar 1-inch (2.54 cm) and the length is highly adjustable. Please use this option for all collars larger than a 19 inch neck circumference. Please leave a comment on your order or send me a direct message letting me know the size you need and I will be happy to make the custom size for you. For example " Please size to 24 inches" The Vintage Denim and Camryn Rose collars are made from high quality leather with unique characteristics. Some may have small marks or scars from before the leather was tanned. This is not damage but natural occurrences with high quality leather and make your collar a one-of-a-kind piece.
